Our goal

We are a team of leading economics researchers at the London School of Economics who are focused on finding effective ways to improve representation of women and minorities at work.

We collaborate with companies to ask questions of mutual interest, such as:

  • How can we build a workplace that works for all?
  • How can we attract and retain female talent?
  • Do mixed gender teams work better?
  • Should we have gender quotas?
  • How do we design a promotion system that is effective and fair?

Part of our findings could and should be extrapolated to other underrepresented groups in the labour market. We have the expertise, the people, the academic resources, the funding and the drive to set the agenda and to make a difference.
